Creative Healing for a Thriving Community

What drives us

For us, creating and sharing art isn't just a hobby — it's the very pulse of who we are. We are fervent believers in the transformative power of art, not just as a personal outlet for expression, but as a dynamic force that sharpens the eye, stretches the mind, and unlocks entirely new ways of seeing the world.

And we don't just talk about it — we make it happen. We ignite this passion in tangible ways. We’re  on the ground, making a direct impact.

This isn't just about art; it's about heart. It's about healing. It's about giving back with every brushstroke, every musical note, every shared moment of creative joy.

And we don't just talk about it – we make it happen.

The man has gray hair and a beard, dressed in a dark blue blazer over a yellow striped shirt, holding a smartphone in his right hand.

Our Founders

Lori & Isaac Raijman MD

As a public school teacher of 24 years, Lori Raijman introduced art as the voice and vehicle for her at-risk students to express their personalities, hopes, fears and realities.

After retiring from teaching, Lori began working with her “gastroenterologist by day, painter by night” husband, Dr. Isaac Raijman. As Lori began to organize art shows for Dr. Raijman, she took note of how the painting process affected him as well as the bridge it built between him, his patients and his colleagues.

Wanting to share their knowledge of how art can connect and heal communities, The Raijman’s founded The Arts of Healing Foundation. Annually they host The Arts of Healing Physician Art Show, which showcases physician artists and brings them together with their colleagues, patients, friends and family, while serving the community and bringing awareness to a philanthropic cause.

Together, The Raijman’s have empowered a community to come together to connect, create, have fun and even heal in the process.
